Watercolor and Fine Art Paper Giclée Prints:
If the original work was pencil, charcoal, or pastel, a heavy, acid-free fine-art paper is the medium that will be used. Similarly, watercolor paper, textured or cold-pressed, is employed in the reproduction of watercolors. All papers are by Hahnemuhle, a German maker of art papers for over five hundred years, and currently produce the most archival media for todays giclée prints with an estimated longevity of 100 years plus.
Canvas giclée prints:
The canvas prints are brilliantly printed on a unique new canvas, the surface of which is porous, with ultrachrome pigmented inks, then multi-coated with an acrylic laminate to seal it against atmospheric pollutants and UV radiation. The longevity of the print is estimated between 80 and 100 years.
Artists Proofs: A small number of a canvas giclée edition may be available as artist proofs. These prints have been hand-enhanced by the original artists with the original pigments for even greater fidelity to the original. These highly desirable artist proofs are indicated as such where available.
Mounting and Framing:
The amazing canvas we employ can be stretched on heavy-duty artists stretcher bars without cracking for a true gallery appearance. On request, we can gallery wrap the print to emulate the artists who delight in painting on the sides of their stretched canvases. |
